Dr. Keyes will be addressing myths about dementia, including:
Dr. Keyes attended the University of Cincinnati graduating with a BS in Chemical Engineering, a PhD in biochemistry, and an MD degree. He is board certified in Internal Medicine (after attending residency at Christ Hospital) and is also board certified in Geriatrics (after attending a joint fellowship at Christ Hospital and University of Cincinnati College of Medicine).
Dr. Keyes is co-director of The Christ Hospital Health & Aging Center. He helps lead a talented and caring interdisciplinary team that focuses on providing ongoing care management for individuals and families living with dementia caused by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementing conditions. He has been Principal Investigator for several clinical trials evaluating new drugs for Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Keyes also serves as Medical Director for Grace Hospice. In his spare time, Dr. Keyes and his wife, Dani, love raising their 3-year old daughter and 11-year old son and are thankful to live with his dad, Don. He is a youth and adult education teacher at the Village Church of Mariemont and Kenwood Baptist Church and serves as Mariemont's Town Crier.
